Ugo Bienvenu is a Paris-based illustrator, director, screenwriter, comic book author,\u00a0 producer, publisher, art director, and entrepreneur.<\/p>\n
Raised in Guatemala, Chad, and Mexico, he moved to France at 15 to study at \u00c9cole\u00a0 Estienne, later attending Gobelins, CalArts, Les Arts D\u00e9coratifs de Paris, and Animation\u00a0 Sans Fronti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n
As an illustrator, he has worked with major press outlets, publishers, musicians, and luxury\u00a0 brands. Since 2019, he has illustrated and designed extensively for Herm\u00e8s. His acclaimed\u00a0 comic book Pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence Syst\u00e8me won the Angoul\u00eame Critics\u2019 Prize in 2019.<\/p>\n
As a publisher, he has released works by over a dozen contemporary artists and\u00a0 contributed to the revival of M\u00e9tal Hurlant. Through his production company Remembers,\u00a0 co-founded with Felix de Givry, he has produced numerous films, music videos (The\u00a0 Strokes, Polo and Pan, The Weeknd), series (Canal+), and advertising campaigns (Herm\u00e8s,\u00a0 Chanel, Ti\\any, and Louis Vuitton). He has also co-produced feature films by Bertrand\u00a0 Bonello and F\u00e9lix de Givry.<\/p>\n
