Benito Strangio (1964) works as a cinematographer and, after graduating from the film academy in 1989, started working on feature films for directors like Fow Pyng Hu, including ‘Jacky’ (2000), ‘Paradise Girls’ (2004), and ‘Nicky’ (2012). He also served as a cinematographer for ’40 days of Silence,’ a film directed by Saodat Ismailova, which received an award for Best Cinematography at the St. Petersburg Festival.<\/p>\n
Currently, Benito is finalizing ‘Gardens of Fez,’ an art project by Heidi Vogels, and the project ‘The 5 Senses of Islam’ by Aiman Hassani. He is also set to collaborate with Neeltje van Westend next year on her film ‘Archives of Reconstruction.’<\/p>\n
