During her high school years she started making films and has been doing so since. With her first documentary <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uit Liefde,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a film about domestic abuse amongst men, she was accepted into the Dutch Film Academy. In 2015 she graduated as a documentary director with the documentary film <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Allez, Viens!<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her debut film <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scenes with my father<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> premiered in 2022 in the main competition of the IDFA and was subsequently shown and awarded at various international festivals.
