He gained international recognition with his short films <em>Escort<\/em> (2013) and <em>Among Us<\/em> (2014). After graduating, he worked as a curator for the video section of De Correspondent. He has written various scripts (short, mid-length, and feature films) in collaboration with other directors, including Ena Sendijarevi\u0107 and Viktor van der Valk. In recent years, he has made notable films such as <em>Stranger In Paradise<\/em> (opening film at IDFA 2016) and <em>A Man and a Camera<\/em> (IFFR 2021). In 2020, he co-founded the production collective Aventura with Ena Sendijarevi\u0107 and Wouter Jansen.
