His expertise lies in creating textiles for stage costumes in opera houses, ballet companies, musicals, and plays. Since 2010, Jan has extended his work to feature films, where he remains fascinated by the distinct differences between designing for theater and film. He has had the privilege of working with renowned costume designers such as <b><i>Milena Canonero <\/i><\/b>on <b><i>The Grand Budapest Hotel <\/i><\/b>and <b><i>The French Dispatch<\/i><\/b>, <b><i>Colleen Atwood <\/i><\/b>on <b><i>Tomb Raider<\/i><\/b>, and <b><i>Odile Dicks-Mireaux <\/i><\/b>on <b><i>Chernobyl<\/i><\/b>. Most recently, Jan spent several years working in Prague on <b><i>The Wheel of Time<\/i><\/b>, designed by the esteemed <b><i>Sharon Gilham<\/i><\/b>.
