We believe it is very important to keep our workshops and gatherings future-proof. This is how FilmForward stimulates the growth of AV professionals in the Netherlands and the realisation of high-quality productions.<\/p>

We have set up the \u2018FeedForward Experts\u2019 group to create and produce a variety of programmes. This network of professionals keeps a close eye on developments in the sector. In this manner, we can (continue to) guarantee the relevance of our programmes. The group consists of professionals from various disciplines, which means that FilmForward continues to strive for high-quality and up-to-date programmes that are in line with practice.<\/p>

FeedForward Experts work by identifying trends and needs for innovation in professional skills based on their own expertise or field. Based on these needs, they devise and organise (interdisciplinary) programmes in collaboration with the FilmForward team.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Bibi Fadlalla (Cairo, 1978) is a Sudanese-Dutch filmmaker, who makes documentaries and video installations. She holds a Masters degree in Film and Television Studies from the University of Amsterdam and\u00a0 the Documentary Media Studies Program at the New School in New York. Bibi combines narrative storytelling with a strong cinematic language, incorporating music and animation. Her work includes films like <\/span>Black Pete & I<\/span><\/i> (2012), <\/span>That Hair! <\/span><\/i>(2016),<\/span> Kendis<\/span><\/i> (2017), <\/span>Father Figure<\/span><\/i> (2019), <\/span>The Women of My Land<\/span><\/i> (2020), <\/span>Prelude to a Nation <\/span><\/i>(2023) and <\/span>Generation Pa<\/span><\/i> (2024).<\/span><\/p>

Rogier Kramer has been co-owner of the Amsterdam-based production company Labyrint Film (formerly known as Dutch Mountain Film) since 2019. He has been recognized as an emerging talent and invited to various industry events and training programs, such as Rotterdam Lab (IFFR) in 2018, Berlinale Talents in 2020 and the EAVE Producers Workshop 2023. Rogier is a dedicated and passionate producer and strives to establish long-term collaborations with writers, directors and co-producers in which transparency and equality are paramount. He is a member of the European Film Academy and the Dutch Academy For Film and occasionally gives guest lectures at the Netherlands Film Academy, where he graduated from in 2015. In addition, Rogier is always looking for stories about, for and\/or by the queer community, as Labyrint Film wants to take the lead in the fight for better representation of this group in particular.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

rosanne fontaine<\/span><\/h2><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Rosanne holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in art and economics and a master\u2019s degree in modern art history. After working in the art industry for several years, her interest in art and commercial photography led her to filmmaking.
She first worked on set as a production manager, but later moved to post-production and started working as an in-house post producer for various post facilities in Amsterdam. In 2019, she started as a freelance post-production supervisor, because during post-production she wanted as part of the crew to be more involved in the creative process. At the beginning of her freelance career, she participated in the annual workshop of APostlab in Budapest in 2019.
As a post-production supervisor, she worked on several feature films and high-end series in the Netherlands, such as the Dutch Oscar entry BULAD\u00d3, Tribeca Special Mention PINK MOON, Netflix Original CAPTAIN NOVA, winner of the camera d\u2019or ARMAND and Videoland original SPHINX.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Sarieke Hoeksma is a story editor and graduated in Film Studies from the University of Amsterdam in 2015, specializing in dramaturgy, philosophy and gender studies. Since then, she has worked for various production companies, including Keplerfilm, PRPL, Spotted Bird, Mirage, Lemming Film, Studio Biarritz and Oak Motion Pictures, and contributed to films such as BULAD\u00d3, PINK MOON, BO, HOTEL SINESTRA and CAPTAIN NOVA. With the ambition to work internationally, she studied for a semester at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver and participated in training programs such as Torino Scriptlab 2019, the Berlin Six Days of Practice with Franz Rodenkirchen and Fran\u00e7oise von Roy, and Emmanuel Oberg\u2019s Development Workshop.
