\nAnimated Resistance (2014), zijn eerste lange documentaire, won de \u2018Venice Classics Award voor beste filmdocumentaire\u2019 op het 71e Internationale Filmfestival van Veneti\u00eb.
\nBrotherhood (2021), zijn tweede lange film, won de Cineasti del Presente Golden Leopard op het 74e Filmfestival van Locarno. \u2018Brotherhood\u2019 is vertoond op meer dan 40 internationale festivals en heeft talloze prijzen gewonnen.
\nAsteri\u00f3n (2022) is zijn eerste korte film, vertoond op het 75e Filmfestival van Locarno, gewonnen op RIGA IFF, Film Fest Dresden, Odense IFF en werd een offici\u00eble kandidaat voor de European Film Awards 2023.
\nMontagner verdeelt zijn mentorrol over drie gerenommeerde internationale filmuniversiteiten, FAMU (Tsjechi\u00eb), EICTV (Cuba) en CISA (Zwitserland), evenals internationale documentaireworkshops voor professionals.<\/p>\n
