FilmForward joins forces with The National Film School of Denmark, Indstry@Talinn & Baltic Event and The Norwegian Film School to organise a MiniMBA Mastering AI for European Film Professionals from April to November 2026. The program will focus on various areas of AI, such as technical skills, and ethical discussions, and it will take place in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Tallinn and online. The Mastering AI for European Film Professionals program is tailored for industry professionals eager to master the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the audiovisual industry. It is an intensive executive training initiative spanning over nine months. Led by industry expert Sten Saluveer, this five-module course aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate and innovate in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. For eight months, you will explore the impact of AI on creative storytelling, interactive learning, practical applications of AI tools, and strategic network development. The course will take place in five modules across Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Tallinn, and online.

Who is this MiniMBA for?
This course is ideal for validated European audiovisual professionals (producers, directors, writers, DOPs, distributors, exhibitors, financiers, executives, heads of department, technology & VFX leads, policymakers, educators) with a minimum of five years of proven industry experience. The program seeks individuals in positions to influence strategic decision-making and implement learned practices within their organisations or projects.

Funding opportunities
The Netherlands Film Fund offers a scholarship of €3000 (covers tuition fee of €2500) for two selected Dutch participants. From all Dutch applicants, two will be selected for this funding opportunity.
