FilmForward’s Vrijplaats Animation residents will present their research on the second day of the Kaboom Animation Festival’s Industry Days.
Vrijplaats is FilmForward’s yearly research trajectory, where selected participants will delve into a chosen research question to further professionalize their practice. In last year’s Vrijplaats, Vrijplaats Animation, seven animation directors were guided by industry professionals in their self-chosen research question.
The animation directors will present their findings and research journey during the second day of the Kaboom Animation Festival’s Industry Day, in a programme titled ‘The Art of Asking.’ The animation directors are Dario van Vree, Juliana Erazo, Mackenzie Fincham, Marlyn Spaaij, Phillip Ullman, Pip Williamson and Şirin Bahar Demirel.
Vrijplaats Animation curator Anna Eijsbouts will moderate this session.
