Judith Boeschoten

Judith is a content-driven cinematographer specializing in fiction and documentary. After completing her Bachelor’s in Media & Culture and Master’s in Film Studies with a focus on fiction dramaturgy at the UvA, Judith gained a year of work experience in dramaturgy and production with entities such as VPRO and Lemming Film. In 2021, she graduated from the Dutch Film Academy, specializing in camera work. Since then, she has joyfully visualized diverse stories from a range of creators. Her graduation film, ‘De Pinpas,’ has been submitted for the Oscars as one of the four Dutch Shorts this year. Currently, she is working on the Telefilm ‘Love me Love me not’ in collaboration with director and writer Leila Sahir and Family Affair.

During ‘Vrijplaats op Maat,’ Judith aims to explore how employing subjective and/or objective perspectives can influence the impact of a film’s editing.
