Critically acclaimed producer, Bruno Felix, is the co-founder of Submarine, an Emmy Award-winning production company based between Amsterdam, Antwerp, Los Angeles and London, which develops and produces animation, documentaries, feature films and scripted series.
Felix has a wealth of experience coordinating international co-productions and collaborating with broadcasters and distributors such as VPRO, BBC, HBO, ZDF, Netflix, and Amazon. He has also produced many award-winning series and films sold to broadcasters around the world, including Emmy-nominated series Picnic with Cake, Fox & Hare, WellieWishers for Amazon Prime, International Kids Emmy Award nominee Doopie, Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles, which won best animated feature at the European Film Awards in 2019, and the multiple Annie Award-nominee Undone, Amazon Prime’s first animated drama series for adults.
The past few years saw the release of his production Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood – acclaimed director Richard Linklater’s film for Netflix – as well as Dream of a Thousand Cats, the animated bonus episode for Warner and Netflix’s series The Sandman.
