Maartje Nevejan is an award-winning independent filmmaker (born in 1965, living in Amsterdam) with a background in theater and multimedia. Her work explores and expresses the raw, poetic quality of reality. Nevejan is a catalyst for change and manifests innovative approaches to realize her visions. She brings together unexpected groups of people from all walks of life – and embraces and inspires their often opposing viewpoints into unexpected forms of creativity.
