Vincent Tilanus is a writer and director. His graduation film Bladgoud from the Netherlands Film Academy (2018) screened at international festivals and won the Prix Amnesty International France at the Poitiers Film Festival. His short film Marlon Brando (2020) was selected for both the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes and the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and was the Dutch submission for the Academy Awards in the Short Film category. His medium-length film Heartbeats (2021) won the Golden Calf for Best Actress at the Netherlands Film Festival. Vincent is currently completing his debut feature film En Iemand Anders (And Someone Else).
