Albert van Vuure

Graduated from the Graphic Design Academy Albert started working from 2002 as a freelance graphic designer for Planet X. In that time he developed himself from graphic designer to VFX supervisor. Now, more than 15 years later, he is co-creative director at Planet X. Planet X has since grown into one of the key players within the Dutch film industry, providing creative visual effects for top-end feature films and television with a dedicated team of 12 VFX artists. Albert is also actively involved in the Dutch VFX community as one of the six founders of the Dutch VFX Association. The association, founded in 2014, has now more then 100 members which he co-founded in 2014.

Albert van Vuure, together with Dennis Kleijn, is mentor of FilmForward Vrijplaats Residency participant Jan Willem van Ewijk.
