Guido Hendrikx

Guido Hendrikx (1987) studied Journalism, Philosophy, and Film Studies and graduated from the film academy (directing documentary and screenwriting). He gained international recognition with his short films Escort (2013) and Among Us (2014). After graduating, he worked as a curator for the video section of De Correspondent. He has written various scripts (short, mid-length, and feature films) in collaboration with other directors, including Ena Sendijarević and Viktor van der Valk. In recent years, he has made notable films such as Stranger In Paradise (opening film at IDFA 2016) and A Man and a Camera (IFFR 2021). In 2020, he co-founded the production collective Aventura with Ena Sendijarević and Wouter Jansen. As a guest lecturer, he has given talks at various schools, art academies, and film festivals worldwide.
