Marijke Hessels serves as the tech dramaturg at the Ulrike Quade Company. She combines her expertise in dramaturgy with knowledge of interdisciplinary collaborations, production processes, artistic (speculative) design, research, technology, and tech philosophy. Her goal is to explore and analyze innovative forms of theater production. Marijke is responsible for establishing and coordinating the Research & Development department at the Ulrike Quade Company, both within the production processes leading to performances and in standalone, open-ended research. She shares her insights through publications for the Theaterkrant and conducts workshops and lectures at various locations.
