Zehra Eekhout is a visual anthropologist and interdisciplinary artist from Utrecht. She works on projects and freelance assignments involving film, theater, and music (as a DJ and radio producer). Important themes within her work are norms, memories, love, and resistance. She is the director and producer of the films Burst Out (2023) and Kreten (2024), and the theater piece Het Dierbaarste Bezit (2025). Additionally, she is a lecturer in sociology at Utrecht University.
