Deep Dive Audience Design with Isona Admetlla
FilmForward invites a small group of film professionals for a private, in-depth Deep Dive session on Audience Design with Isona Admetlla Font.

Where the Wednesday masterclass introduces the principles of Audience Design, the Deep Dive puts them into practice. During this hands-on working day a selection of 3 to 5 projects will work directly with Isona Admetlla’s tools and exercises: sharpening who their audience is, translating that insight into concrete choices in story and development, and testing their assumptions in group sessions.
Who is this Deep Dive for?
- Teams with a project — writer, director and/or producer with a project in development. FilmForward selects 3 to 5 projects from local industry professionals through an open call.
- Individual professionals without a project — apply to be matched with one of the selected teams, learning the methodology hands-on while contributing a fresh, outside perspective to the team’s process.
Everyone taking part in the Deep Dive also attends the Masterclass on Wednesday 14 October in Leiden. Not sure if this Deep Dive is for you. Don’t hesitate to email us to discuss.
Application Process
There is a limited number of spots available for this Deep Dive. To apply, please share your pitch deck of your project (+ treatment if available) and answer the following questions:
- What is your motivation for joining this Deep Dive?
- Will you attend with or without a project and a team?
- What is one question, challenge or topic you would like to explore during the session?
Please send your pitchdeck + answers to the above questions as a PDF file to info@filmforward.nl before Thursday September 24, 2026 at 11:59 AM. If you are applying as an individual, you can leave out the pitchdeck and only email us your answers to the above questions.
Applicants will receive confirmation by Thursday October 1st, 2026. Selected participants will be able to buy a ticket for the whole program from that date, ticket includes the masterclass.

Fee: €150, excl. VAT
Your Deep Dive ticket covers both days: the Masterclass on Wednesday 14 October, in Leiden (including networking drinks afterwards), and the Deep Dive on Thursday 15 October (including lunch).
Funding opportunities for this course
For the costs of this programme you could qualify for a contribution from Werktuig Permanente Professionele Ontwikkeling (PPO), which finances a third of your application for a workshop or training. The rest should be financed by your employer, client and/or yourself.
For this workshop the cancellation policy is as follows:
- If you cancel more than 14 days before the workshop day, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
- If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before the workshop, you will receive a 50% refund of the ticket price.
- If you cancel within 7 days of the workshop day, you will not receive a refund.
