session about AI in film for AV professionals
Artificial Intelligence has become a part of the creative industry. What is the power of (generative) AI for film productions? What are the latest technical developments? And what are the legal aspects of AI in film productions? What should you pay attention to if you want to use AI, or if you want to prevent your work from being unintentionally used by AI?
FilmForward, in collaboration with NFF Extended and lawyer Gaico Bos, is organizing an interactive session at MACA where we will discuss these developments with filmmakers, AI experts and legal experts. A session for everyone involved in developing, producing and exhibiting films.
Program
We start the interactive meeting with an overview of the latest creative, technological and legal developments in the field of AI. What are the latest technical developments? And what does this mean for your work? And we discuss the legal implications of AI, what you should take into account when using it and what you can do to protect your work.
We will then discuss two case studies of productions created with the help of (generative) AI with the makers. What are their experiences, what has AI brought them to the creative process and what have they encountered? The legal implications of both case studies are also discussed by lawyer Gaico Bos.
There is plenty of room for asking questions at this interactive meeting.
