The Animation Lab Netherlands is a 3-day training especially for Dutch fiction and documentary producers who want to learn more about producing animated films.
This workshop will give you insight into the animation industry with topics such as development, production and post-production, festival strategy and distribution. Through masterclasses from leading experts, interactive group sessions and individual sessions, you will learn the specific aspects of the animation industry.
The workshop will take place from April 11 to 13, 2024 in Amsterdam, during the KABOOM Animation Festival.
The Animation Lab Netherlands is a collaboration between Film Forward, KABOOM Animation Festival and Dutch Audiovisual Producers Alliance (NAPA) and is supported by the Netherlands Film Fund.

Opzet workshop
The Animation Lab Netherlands is a 3-day training course tailor-made for Dutch fiction and documentary producers who want to delve deeper into producing animated films.
Under the guidance of experienced animation producers Martin Vandas (MAUR Film, Tsjechië) and Jelena Popović (National Film Board of Canada), you will learn the specific aspects of the animation industry through master classes, interactive group sessions and individual sessions, including:
* development, production and post-production
* festival strategy and distribution

The Animation Lab Netherlands is for Dutch fiction and documentary producers and/or producers who have started their first animation production. Participants must have led at least two projects in their current field as a producer and want to develop/start an animation project.
