Do you want to know more about the possibilities and influence of Artificial Intelligence on making (animated) films and telling stories? What are the latest techniques, what can it bring you as an AV professional and how can we give meaning to our sometimes ambiguous ideas on AI? Then come to the interactive presentation and panel discussion of STORY&CODE in MACA on 3 October and ask your questions.
On this interactive presentation, the teasers that the STORY&CODE participants have made will be screende and they will share their experiences of using AI in making animated films and answer questions from the audience.
During the cross-ver artist residency STORY&CODE organized by AIxDESIGN and Sublab, six filmmakers and six creative technologists worked together on a short story and developed a teaser/trailer while experimenting in the creative process with AI/ML techniques.
This is followed by a panel discussion with animation makers, AI experts and the public about the possibilities and impossibilities of AI techniques and the impact and sensemaking of AI. What can it bring you as an AV professional, how does it change the process of making your film? How can we look beyond the hype, and can give meaning to our sometimes ambiguous ideas and collective experiences and make the unknown our own?
The panel discussion is moderated by Aneta Ozorek.
The purpose of the meeting is to share and exchange knowledge and to bring makers from the various networks together. The meeting will be concluded with a networking drink.

For all AV professionals, from animators, screenwriters, directors, producers, to production designers, cinematographers, sound designers and everyone involved in telling, creating and shaping film and audiovisual productions.
