Magician Paul Weiss was fascinated by magic from an early age. With his ingenuity and broad imagination he developed his own tricks and illusions and showed them to family, friends and acquaintances. At a later age he mainly focused on tablemagic and magical children’s shows and provided magical performances throughout the Netherlands. In 1996 he became a member of the Dutch Magical Union in that year and participated in various competitions. At a street magic festival in 2002 in which the best street magicians had to compete against each other, he won a third prize.
After watching David Copperfield on television, he was completely under the spell of illusionism. He was sure he wanted to learn the trade of illusionist. The combination of unique illusions, a completely individual style and presentation has given the shows a clearly recognizable face. Because of this distinguishing factor, in 2004 he rightly became the new Dutch Champion of Illusionism.
Over the years, Paul has developed into a professional magical entertainer with a strong personality. With his sympathetic appearance, he is a welcome artist and has been able to show his skills in a professional manner at many parties.
Pail Weiss was speaker at the FilmForward Vrijplaats Residency.
